Creating

I can create, create whatever I want. I have dreamt about it so often and now it has happened. There is a huge space in front of me to experiment.

Applied art has a noble mission, to refine people and society. Textile is an important part of interior design. Mastering the material, the production technique is often the most important process in the production of the work itself.

Tapestry – an object articulating space, through which I try to reveal boundaries and limits.

The fact that the tapestry ideally combines a practical function (thermal insulation, acoustic security of space, articulation of a dimensional wall and space) together with artistic qualities has earned a prominent position within the field of textile design.

Each tapestry is unique.

Tapestry – wall curtain, blanket, carpet made of textile weaves of the most diverse combinations and textile technologies gives the opportunity to create with unlimited variations and ideas that are functional and unique without mass production.

Tapestry knitting offers me experimentation, spontaneity, the transmission of my experiences, my idea of the world, my moods through the colourful yarns, their rhythm, the proportions of the individual objects. The tapestry is easily transportable, it is not exclusively associated with one particular space, understood as an object articulating space, but also as a monumental screen, as an integrated part of architecture.

The tapestry of the 21st century is becoming a space for the application of new technological experiments.

In my work I focus on different degrees of stylization. I knit tapestries using the jacquard technique in different sizes and colours. I use yarns that retain their properties of permanent colour, high durability, very little shrinkage. Some of the tapestries are hand inlaid with rhinestones, hot-fix, Swarovski crystals. All my work is signed with my logo, woven in various places that are not visible in the photos. When purchasing a given product, the owner receives a certificate of originality and uniqueness about the limited series marked 1/1 (the author may not repeat the work and you are its sole owner) information about the weight, date of manufacture and a small reproduction of the tapestry itself with an indication of the place where the GK logo is located.
